The Mission
To build a complex, end-to-end digital ecosystem for a startup in the hospitality and food service industry. The project required creating a full-stack platform that included customer-facing iOS and Android mobile apps, a restaurant point-of-sale (POS) application, and an admin dashboard. The solution had to be highly scalable and integrate with various third-party POS systems. A key challenge was to develop an innovative AI module that could automatically digitise paper menus using computer vision, a feature that significantly streamlined the onboarding process for new restaurants.
The Solution
Created a complex ecosystem for mobile food ordering including customer iOS and Android apps, a restaurant POS application and an admin dashboard. The platform integrated with multiple POS systems via Doshii and used microservice architecture, MongoDB replicas and AWS Lambda for scalability. An AI module automatically digitised paper menus using computer vision.
The Outcome
Tayble processed about 500,000 orders from 500 Sydney venues within a year. The founder praised 10x Labs’s creativity and engineering expertise for delivering a fully‑functional, end‑to‑end platform.
